Florida vs Buffalo:

• Both backups are in net with Spencer Knight facing Eric Comrie.
• Comrie is coming over from Winnipeg and is a below average netminder.
• Spencer Knight is the future of Florida and just signed a three year deal to line up with Bobrovsky’s contract ending and should get a sizable contract after that.
• Florida should be able to out skate and out score Buffalo here making the ML more favorable than the team total. 
• Game should end either 4-3 or 5-3 in Florida’s favor. 

Vancouver vs. Philadelphia

• There’s no doubt that John Tortorella is a very good coach in the league, the problem is he is only good in small doses. If a team cannot win in the first 3-4 years under him then the relationships in the locker room begin to become hostile. Torts likes to work hard and doesn’t take anyone’s bullshit so sometimes that breeds tension.
• Philly needs a guy like Torts. They have the talent on the roster especially with all the talent they’ve moved out over the years so Torts should have success here in year one, at least better than expected. 
• These two teams don’t normally see each other often but the last time Demko and Hart met the game saw eight goals.
• I like both offenses today and don’t expect either goalies to put up spectacular showings and both offenses to produce. The over at 6 is in play but I will be playing the alt toal at 5.5. 
• The game should be fluid, not many stoppages, back and forth transitions with goals each period.
