BYU/SMU over 52.5 -164: 

Jake Retzlaff has a lot to prove under center for BYU and he took an exceptional step forward in BYU’s 41-13 win over Southern Illinois Salukis going 20-30 for 348 yards and 3 TD’s. SMU will provide a much tougher test for Retzlaff and for BYU to ultimately lose this game, but I expect Retzlaff to continue to have enough success offensively to help push this game over. SMU had an easy test last week as well against the Houston Christian Huskies putting up 42 points in the first half. 

I expect this game to have enough offense from both sides to push this game over. SMU should carry the game and should cover, but I prefer to get the spread at 9.5 or better if you plan on playing the side. Retzlaff should have the ball in his hand the majority of their offensive game and see BYU to 17 points by the 4th quarter. With this, I expect SMU to already have a lead by at least ten points or more putting us at a 27-17 game in the third. We should hit the over by the end of the game and see a 34-24 type game. 

Duke vs Northwestern: unofficial lean- over 34.5

I don’t have a lean or play for this game but the history between these two has been offensively productive enough that the over being this low has some interest from me. I won’t be playing it but it’s worth noting these two have scored a total of 35 points against each other in six of the last eight meetings.
