Anaheim vs Columbus:

• Columbus has scored a total of 17 goals in their last 11 games and have scored two goals in the past 159 minutes (since 18:28 remaining in the second period three games ago).
• These two don’t play often but I see this as a get right game for Columbus. 
• The Jackets have the more star studded team, although its close if we match them up one for one, but they also have the experience. 
• I don’t feel there is much value in playing a -180 team total to get a struggling Jackets at 3 and I am not confident playing them at 3.5. 
• I would look at Columbus ML as a more valuable piece at -159 and could use it to boost a round robin or long shot parlay. 

Boston vs New York:

• These two teams usually play very entertaining competitive hockey games so I personally will not be playing a side here. 
• The Rangers have not been as good of a team this season as they were last year and they also over-achieved last season in my opinion. 
• What I don’t like about Boston is playing the back to back after beating the Isles last night. Linus Ullmark played last night so Jeremy Swayman will be starting for Boston which is another reason I am not favorable to them tonight. 
• Patrice Bergeron took a nasty deflection to the face last night during the game and even though he returned, I’m sure he’s feeling the after effects of it today as well. 
• My lean from a betting perspective is that this game is unnecessary and a coin flip. I wouldn’t argue against either side you personally want to play. 

Florida vs Montreal:

• The home teams have not only won the majority of the recent meetings between these two, but the home team has dominated. 
• Florida is coming off a blown lead to Toronto two nights ago so I expect more out of them tonight. WIth Bob playing again tonight, I expect some rebound especially with Montreal coming off an upset win over Winnipeg that same night to fuck our parlay. 
• With Florida’s team total coming in at 4 pregame, we need to lay -150 to get 3.5. At needing 4 to cash anyway, I like the game total more. I expect Montreal to be able to put up some goals tonight with the way these two have played in the past, I just expect Florida to break the trend of losing on the road. This came could see 11 goals in it tonight and I will look to cautiously ladder it. 

Minnesota vs Carolina:

• I expect this to be a low scoring 2-1 / 3-2 type game either way. 
• Marc-Andre Fleury is starting tonight for Minny and I expect Andersen to start for Carolina. 
• This should be a good, hard fought, tight hockey game so I will not be playing this game anywhere. 

Isles vs Buffalo: 

• Both teams here are struggling and both teams here need a get right game. 
• THe home team has won the last 9 meetings and the home team has put up 4 or more goals in the last 8. 
• I expect a lot of scoring tonight. The books donight. The game is favored on the under 6 so getting 5.5 tonight is going to be very cheap. Only way this game ends under 5.5 is if one team only puts up 1. I’m not banking on that. 
• These two teams play open games against each other and both have the skill to run it up. The isles have the significant edge in net but the Sabres being home should help balance that out. I want to lean this as a 5-3 type Isles win tonight even though the history says Buffalo should get the win tonight. 

St. Louis vs Nashville:

• This normally has been a favorable matchup for the overs. I am hesitant with O’Reilly and Tarasenko out. 
• I will be playing Nashville on the ML. I still believe in this team and like them in this spot. This is a game they need to take advantage of and run up the score. Their team total is available at 2.5 so playing the 2.5 and hitting 4 at +245 has value imo. 

Washington vs Arizona:

• I don’t prefer betting against Arizona at home in out of conference games so I will be laying off Washington here. 

Detroit vs Vegas:

• I don’t like playing Vegas without Mark Stone but feel this is a game they can be played. 
• Adin Hill is in net for Vegas so play it cautiously.
