7/22 MLB Breakdown

Hey Everyone,

After today all content will be back behind the sites walls. I need to get things organized on the backend and preparing for NFL and NHL coming back around in the next 4-6 weeks. I have activated the penny promo back for the rest of the month that allows everyone to get access from now until August 15th for only one cent. If you want access to just the picks make sure you  are using the $20 package. If you are looking for access to all articles and guides make sure you are using the promo code on the $40 package.

Detroit vs Cleveland: 6:40 pm

Tarik Skubal is the favorite to win the A.L. Cy Young this season with a 10-2 record and 2.41 ERA. Skubal has pitched well this year but he’s not untouchable. What I like in this game is Carrasco being on the mound for Cleveland. Detroit is 4-3 on the year against Cleveland and have the significant pitching edge in tonight’s matchup. Being on the road the line is pushed down to -130 for the Tigers to win. The bullpens in this game however are on opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of production so I see this game being a potential come from behind victory for Cleveland. I don’t mind getting cute here and trying to hit this multiple ways. With Carrasco on the mound I like the Tigers total of 3.5. In the last six meanings the only time the Tigers did not hit that total was a 1-0 win. I also like the Tigers to get to Carrasco early in the game and Skubal to cruise through the first 5 innings. Once Skubal comes out of the game if its a 2-3 lead for the Tigers I will be hitting Cleveland at plus money to come back and win late.

St. Louis vs Pittsburgh: 6:40 pm

The Cards have won Mitch Keller’s last two starts where he’s given up seven earned. The Cardinals team total opened up at 3.5 which is the lines we’ve been targeting live. I will be attacking Keller here with the total being 3.5 pregame for 1 unit and hoping the Cardinals bats can put it together enough to hit the total and not worry about a win.

Chicago vs Texas: 8:05 Pm

The Rangers have dominated the White Sox as of late and covered the 1.5 spread in five of six last year. Erick Fedde is having an uncharacteristically good season with a 7.3 record and 2.99 ERA. I am not buying it at all. The White Sox should be major sellers at next week’s trade deadline and have the worst record in the majors. Texas comes in dropping two of three to the Orioles and have a nice rebound spot today. Lucky for us, Fedde’s numbers are pushing the totals down a bit. This game should be hit live after the first. The team total over 3.5 comes in at -200 pregame so once the Rangers go down in the first the line should drop and we will jump on it. I will also be playing 4.5 pregame as well as 6.5 +220. I expect Texas to run away with this game and be one of the bigger team scores on the day.

Boston vs Colorado: 8:40 pm

I was a buyer on the Red Sox in the preseason taking the over on their win total of 77.5. They are at 53 right now and sitting only 6.5 games out of first place. Heading into Colorado is an auto buy for me tonight and hitting Devers and Rafaella props with Austin Gomber on the mound. The Sox are on the road so we will get all nine at bats this game and reason enough to splash the two plus homers for each player at their odds. I’m hitting the 5.5 team total pre game for 3 units. You can splash the 9.5 team total for +400 but I expect to hit this game live and keep laddering throughout the game.
