Monday MLB Pregame Plays 7/29

7/29 MLB Breakdown

Hey everyone,

As mentioned, all content will be back behind the paywall, and subscriptions are set for August. All yearly members have been extended through the first half of the NHL season. Going forward content will be on point and articles will be out five days a week. The two types of subscriptions will be plays-only or all-inclusive. All-inclusive will include all articles and betting guides. Plays only will not have access to any of that. All plays will be updated into the Today’s Bets page for the plays-only subscriptions. Articles will be out at least five days a week, breaking down each matchup and play. Things were rough for a while, I understand that, and if you choose not to be a member anymore I will definitely miss you. I know what is yet to come especially with football starting in a little over a month and Sanaynay being on board for the betting season as well as his seasonal fantasy product. Prices have been reduced as mentioned in the past and I know we will be back to where we were in terms of success.

The Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays have a double-header today with the first game kicking off at 3:05 pm. Zach Eflin was recently acquired by the O’s and will start today against the Jays. The Jays total is very low in my opinion being -220 for 2.5 and -120 for 3.5. Efllin has already faced the Jays three times this season in Tampa Bay giving up totals of six, four, and two, with the Jays scoring three or more runs in all three of those games. Yariel Rodriguez is on the mound for the Jays who is slowly inching his innings up with each passing start. The Jays are coming off a sweep of the defending champs and I expect the momentum to continue at least in terms of the low team total hitting. VLaddy is 6-16 against Eflin with two home runs if you are interested in some props. I will be laying off the props for a bit after missing on Devers and Merrill over the weekend. Depending on lineups for the second game, I will look to target the over there with Bowden Francis and Cade Povich on the mound. That should be a quick turnaround so expect an article update following the first game. With the wind blowing out and Eflin being a decent fly ball pitcher, I am confident in the Jays getting on the board against him. I will be hitting the 3.5 team total for 1 unit pregame, and then as soon as the total of 2.5 drops to the mid 140-150 range I will be hitting it live for two more units.

Cleveland and Detroit are entering their third series matchup in the month of July and I am getting bored of it. The wind is blowing in and the last time Captain Jack and Tanner Bibbee squared up we got a 2-1 final. The wind is blowing in 10 mph and the wind blowing in cost us a few homers in the Cards/Nationals game yesterday. You know I don’t typically play unders in games so I will be laying off this game altogether.

The Phillies and Yankees don’t play often and I will be pulling for the Phillies here. We have Wyatt Langford and Ceddanne Rafaella to win the A.L. Rookie of the Year award. Luis Gil is the current favorite and he will take the mound against the Phils today. A blow up game for Gil against the Phils dominant lineup would be great for our rookie odds. Zack Wheeler is on the mound for the Phils so I don’t hate a money line play on them to win but I don’t like the lines on them or their team total. The wind is blowing out 10 mph but there’s a 30 % chance of rain in the game. I won’t have the same confidence on the Phils if the game gets delayed and we lose Wheeler. Juan Soto has three solo home runs against Wheeler with 13 walks for what it’s worth.

The Mariners/Red Sox game will be my favorite game of the day. Seattle is coming off a three game sweep of the White Sox where they scored 22 runs. Their offense is heading into a hitter friendly park with the wind giving the ball a slight boost blowing straight out. Nick Pivetta is coming off an absolute shelling in Colorado where the Rockies put up 20 total runs. Pivetta is a fly ball pitcher so I expect the M’s bats to put on a bit of a clinic today. Randy Arozarena was recently acquired by the M’s and has two home runs against Pivetta in 22 at bats with Cal Raleigh and Jorge Polanco themselves taking Pivetta yard twice. Both are batting over .420 against him. The team total opens up at 3.5 -155 so I will be playing it pregame and then hitting it again live after the first inning or two.

Chris Flexen is a gas can and the White Sox are the worst team in baseball. I will be targeting them a lot more over the coming weeks and will be taking the Royals on the run-line today for a unit.

The Cardinals bats have really struggled this season and Goldschmidt and Arenado are not the dominant hitters they once were. The Rangers are coming off a three game sweep by the Toronto Blue Jays so this will be a series I expect the Rangers to get back on track. Eovaldi gives the Rangers the pitching edge and the line is low enough to take the 1st 5 line and the full line. I also like the Rangers bats to get on the board and cover their 3.5 team total.

I will be analyzing the later games a bit later and will update the article with the night plays!
