Saturday MLB Pregame Plays 4/13

MLB has gotten away from me this week, sticking with three teams (Philly, Toronto, Boston) that continue to hurt us. We will be getting back to it today and getting back in the plus. I am passing on the Yankees-Indians game with the game being in Cleveland. I prefer to start our day in Detroit with Joe Ryan and Kenta Maeda on the mound with the wind blowing out close to 20 MPH. Expect Detroit to put the ball in the air off a fastball-flyball pitcher and the ball to carry with the wind blowing out. Minnesota should win this game and carry the total. I will be doubling down on the game over and the Twins total.

The Baltimore Orioles need to get Jackson Holliday out of the 9 spot of the lineup. Jackson should bat in the two or three spot with Adley and Gunnar. If Holliday continues to hit down there, it will mess with his confidence, if it already hasn’t. As the face of the franchise, this kid should have been brought up and put in a prime spot to thrive behind his fellow top prospects. DL Hall starts against the team that traded him for Corbin Burnes today. Dean Kremer starts for Baltimore who’s had two relatively easy starts against Pittsburgh and Kansas City, but we should see the opposite results today. Milwaukee comes in today as the second-best offense in the league and put up 11 runs on the O’s yesterday. Today’s game should balance out more with both offenses getting on the board. Milwaukee’s team total is too low at 3.5 so like Minnesota, I will be hitting both sides of this game.
