Today will be another light day on the ice. We are rolling right now, hitting the Devils/Caps pregame over yesterday and our two LIVE bets. We need to be patient with live. I am aware you were all frustrated we weren’t on the Canucks/Wild game the other day, but I was not able to watch the game. I post live as I am able and see fit. If you want to be on a game over like the Canucks, by all means make the plays, but I am posting what I see and what I feel are best hits. I also was confused by the early frustration yesterday. In my article I mentioned I felt the night would be an off night and to keep it light and that we would be hitting some live. Comment on the article and let me know the other plays you all made that frustrated you…Florida scored 30 seconds into the game which worked out better for us not playing it as that game ended 3-2 in OT and why I was unwilling to play 4 or a high juiced 3.5. Surprisingly, Crosby was excluded from the score sheet even though the Penguins put up four goals.
I have to be in NY today and will be limited with my availability. Physically I have been unwell and have been trying to get better asap. I’m sure most of you know from being at 4d I do deal with health issues that come up and really knock me on my ass. We also have a due date coming up.
On the ice, I like Buffalo to win tonight. The team total of three looks nice but not for -175. I am going to play them light for one unit and hope they don’t let a lower scoring team beat them. Philly is coming off two tough losses to two good teams and should rebound in Chicago tonight. Chicago is giving up over 3.5 goals per game and the Flyers have been the surprise team of the year so far. The Flyers have 15 wins on the road this season and are above .500 with Chicago having four total wins at home. After missing the totals on the Hawks game against Ottawa, we rebounded against them with Carolina two nights ago. I expect them to struggle again tonight against a hard nosed Flyers team and we should be in a position for the Flyers to have three goals by the third. We may rely on an empty net in this one, but I like the chances.
Columbus and Anaheim have provided us with some bangers last season, but their first matchup this season was a dud. Anaheim’s offense put up against Buffalo and expected to see Danill Tarasov in net. Tarasov has a 3.96 GAA. The Ducks are also giving up 3.5 goals per game. This is a personal choice if you want to play this over and hope both teams play like shit defensively. I personally am not due to how well we’ve been rolling. I do not want to throw money away on hopes. These are two bad teams who have a different identity each night they play. Fantilli, Laine, and Zegras are out for both teams and they are three very important pieces to their offenses. Play at your own risk.
Arizona has won the last four matchups against the Leafs, but both teams are on completely opposite ends of the spectrum right now. The Coyotes have lost 10 in a row and Auston Matthews is the Hart candidate right now. A key reason the Leafs have struggled against the Yotes is Matthews only putting up 5 goals and 1 assist in 12 career games. The Leafs also play Vegas tomorrow so I am hesitant to keep playing them for their next few games. They head back home after a matchup with Colorado on Saturday and play the Yotes and Knights again.
Edmonton and Boston close this game out and this will be a game I target live. Typically, these two play lower scoring games but Boston has been struggling, and Edmonton has been on fire. I will see who is starting in net later today and will be home in bed watching the game live tonight so be ready for live here. I need to see Boston’s pace out the gate to see if this is a game Edmonton takes off.
