We have some making up to do after Game 6 of the Stars/Oilers series. After stringing together consecutive winning days, we gave it all back and more. It was frustrating watching that game expecting Dallas to win in a 4-2/5-2 fashion. Edmonton was limited the way I expected goal wise, but the lack of shots was a bit surprising. Dallas putting up 34 shots and being shut down by Skinner to only one goal was a rusted dagger to the heart. With an .897 save percentage after that game, a save percentage even lower that that heading into it should have equated to a 3+ goal effort from Dallas. That 3-2 lead gives us the position we want to hit the 4-2/5-2 final I expected and a game 7.
Today I aim to get those units back in Boston. With Nick Pivetta on the mound facing Spencer Schwellenbach I expect this game to go back and forth. The weather is mid to low 80’s with the wind blowing out 10mph so the ball should carry. I expect Atlanta to win this game and carry the total but Boston should get on the board as well. I plan on hitting the total, team totals, and a mini ladder while splashing some player props who have solid BVP for this situation. Stay alert as well because if this game picks up early I will be laddering some lives throughout the game as well.
