Super Bowl LVIII

Here are some more unofficial plays/leans. I’m personally playing these but I’m not posting any officially, all heavy leans and for fun. I played them all anywhere from .25u to 1u. Ask me in chat if you have any questions.

Brandon Aiyuk u61.5 Receiving Yards (-110) – BetRivers

• Snead is elite and the Chiefs have an elite pass defense on the edges. I think the 49ers pepper the middle and short range players (Deebo specifically).

 

Deebo Samuel to win MVP (+2600) – Fanduel

• He can score at any moment on the air and ground. If Purdy has a subpar game and Deebo has a vast majority of the offense with multiple scores plus a 49ers win, I can see him taking home the MVP. I think the odds are a bit inflated in our favor. 

 

Brock Purdy 1+ INT (-132) – Fanduel

• I think he throws at least one pick in this game. Chiefs Defensive Coordinator, Steve Spagnuolo, is too good with two weeks off. Purdy has five turnover worthy plays in two playoff games this postseason. 

Will there be a Pick 6? YES (+520) – Fanduel

• See above. I think if it’s on the edges or a crossing route with a LB, they can house it. I don’t think Mahomes throws a pick 6 but we also have that out on a random dropped pass.

 

Travis Kelce o.5 Rushing Yards (+750) – Fanduel

• Andy Reid always draws up fun plays and has run the wildcat with Kelce at QB before. Could do it inside the 2-3 yard line and Kelce runs one in.

Patrick Mahomes 1st TD (+2500) – Draftkings

• Patrick Mahomes scored the 1st TD the first time these two teams played in the Super Bowl back in 2020. Also, same logic applies here as with any QB to score the 1st TD in a big game, the odds are favorable.

Kadarius Toney 1st TD (+70000) – Draftkings

• Fuck it, why not? As I mentioned above, Reid draws up some fun plays. Toney is still electric with the ball in his hands, his issue is just securing the ball. He could do a reverse or screen or something easy to get the ball in Toney’s hands and he climbs into the endzone 1st. 

Deebo Samuel to win MVP (+2600) – Fanduel

• He can score at any moment on the air and ground. If Purdy has a subpar game and Deebo has a vast majority of the offense with multiple scores plus a 49ers win, I can see him taking home the MVP. I think the odds are a bit inflated in our favor. 

L’Jarius Sneed to win MVP (+15000) – Draftkings

• See above, if Snead has multiple picks and a TD in a defensive minded game, he has an avenue to the MVP.

 

Trent McDuffie to win MVP (+60000) – Fanduel

• Same logic as Sneed. 

 

George Karlaftis to win MVP (+49000) – Fanduel

• Same as Sneed and McDuffie but strip sack/TD and multiple sacks.
