Tuesday MLB Pregame Plays 4/3

Last night did not go as planned. The loss was more on the Rangers’ bats than Eflin’s pitching. There was an excellent play early in the game by Rosario to rob a double, and a few balls that were hit very well and deep that did not carry. I wish Tavares didn’t swing first pitch in the top of the ninth, especially with the top of the order behind him. We will chip away to get last night’s units back and not go off the rails chasing. I made a play, we missed, we go back to what we’ve been doing. The weather is absolute shit today, especially in the tri-state area so our plays will be light today. I’d like to aim at getting 6-9 units back today on 2-3 plays, so let’s keep it strict and precise and put yesterday’s losses behind us.

I will be targeting Boston’s matchup with Oakland. Nick Pivetta has dominated Oakland in his career and I like Boston a lot more this year. Boston may not make the playoffs but as I mentioned in my pre-season breakdown of them, they should take significant steps forward this year to be a playoff team again in the coming years. A matchup against one of the worst teams in the league with Pivetta’s dominating numbers (5-0 0.82 ERA) makes this game the most appealing to me. Ross Stripling has had very good numbers against Boston over the past two years, but again, this Boston team is much better in my opinion than the team of the past two years. The wind has a little boost behind it blowing out so I will be playing the team total as well. I will be locked into this game so as the results come in is when I will be looking to put more plays in. Remember, winning every day is not realistic, it’s just simply not, so doing what we need to do over two to three days to recoup our misses yesterday is the focus. Stay disciplined and smart and yesterday will be forgotten soon. The positive thing about our loss yesterday as well was the line was -125 so we are not making up significant juice.

Official Plays:

  • Boston Red Sox ML -165: 2u
  • Boston Red Sox Team Total over 3.5 -185: 5u
  • Boston Red Sox Team Total over 4.5 -105: 2u
  • Boston Red Sox Team Total over 5.5 +150: 2u
